TRADING TIPS

CLOSET POSTING

Whether you choose to swap your fabulous pieces with others on the World Wide Web or just with others in your own city, state, or college/university. Here are a few rules to swap by:

1.   Post pieces that is still fashionably stylish. Vintage pieces are haute & fabulous, but if you’ve had them in your closet for about 6-10 seasons, it could be passé.

2.   If your piece still has tags on it, chances are it is in great condition. On the other hand, if the reason the piece has never seen the light of day, is because you flinch at the thought of wearing it, you may not want to post it in your Arm Frosting closet! The odds are that someone else may feel the same.

3.   If your pieces have any stains, shrunk it in the dryer, or have a ripped hole in it, please don’t post it in your Arm Frosting closet. You may want to consider donating it or turning it into a rag.

4.   Post something that you loved or at least liked when you bought it.

·      Maybe you never had the right occasion to wear it.

·      It didn’t quite fit right or you decided it wasn’t your style.

·      You may have way too many clothes in your closet that you could possibly wear.

·      It may be that you don’t like to wear your pieces twice, because every outfit that you have worn has been the latest Facebook or Twitter post.

5.   Post pieces that you expect to receive. Post items that are a representation of an item you’d like have in your closet.
